The research
What BPC-157 is being studied for
Most research on BPC-157 is in animals. One review found only a single small human study among hundreds of published papers, so your provider will weigh the potential benefit against what’s still unknown.
Tendon, ligament and muscle repair
Animal studies suggest it may support healing of soft-tissue injuries. Human data is very limited.
Gut lining
Studied for the gut lining and inflammatory bowel conditions, which is the use the FDA’s advisory committee reviewed.
Recovery from training
Commonly discussed for recovery, though controlled human studies are lacking.
