The research
What GHK-Cu is being studied for
GHK-Cu has been studied in skin care for decades, mostly in topical form. Research on injected GHK-Cu in people is more limited.
Collagen and firmness
Studied for supporting collagen production and skin elasticity.
Fine lines and skin quality
Being studied for skin texture, tone and the appearance of fine lines.
Hair
Studied for supporting hair density and the health of hair follicles.
Wound healing
Researched for its role in repairing skin after injury.
What is GHK-Cu?
What it is
GHK-Cu combines a three-amino-acid peptide (glycine-histidine-lysine) with copper. It’s found in blood, saliva and urine, and is involved in the body’s tissue-remodeling signals.
How it’s taken
Injection or topical, as prescribed by your provider. Your provider will explain the schedule and how to use it safely.
Is GHK-Cu FDA-approved?
No. Prescription GHK-Cu from Ivím is compounded by a licensed pharmacy, where federal and state rules allow.
How is it different from copper-peptide skin care?
Over-the-counter products contain lower amounts for topical use. A prescription lets your provider choose the form and strength for your goals.
